What are the costs to advertise?

Individual web site:

Please tell us what you want and we give you a detailed quotation. It is part of our service to advise you if you should add certain information. Not everything which is familiar to North Americans is known by Europeans.
If we design your web site we will give you for the first year a 50% discount on the yearly fee of $56.00 + GST for one banner in our tourist guide as well as for listing in our data base.

Advertising in one of our web sites:

The yearly fee for one German banner, 175 pixel wide and not higher than 300 pixel, in one of our web sites is $56.00 + GST. It includes a link to an existing German web site.
Please note that we will not link any longer to English web sites because of complaints.
In addition you company will be listed in our searchable German data base. This listing will include:

• listing in all applicable categories
• one picture, maximal 200 pixels wide or 200 pixels high for each entry in an applicable category
• name and address of your business with phone number
• contact person
• languages spoken
• link to your German web site
• a brief description of what you offer in each category (no prices). This description shall contain essential keywords which will help the visitor to find your business, e.g. for a motel: air condition, quiet location, discount for seniors and for your restaurant: famous for sea food and steaks, special menu for children and seniors, discount for our motel guests. etc. We will do the required translation.

Special introduction offer:

If you do not want to have a German web site with an banner in our tourist guide, but want to get known to German visitors, you should use this offer. The annual fee is $ 35.00 + GST.
It consists of the listing in one category of our German database. The listing will contain:

• one picture, maximal 200 pixels wide or 200 pixels high
• name and address of your business with phone number
• languages spoken
• e-mail address
• opening time if applicable
• a brief description of what you offer (no prices, This description shall contain essential keywords which will help the visitor to find your business, e.g. Chinese buffet, Indian food, quiet location, children welcome etc. We will do the required translation.

Budget site:

If you want to have a German web site which contains all essentials and is priced for even a small advertising budget, select our so called "budget site".
The designs costs $120.00 + GST. (for reference see sample site in English)
Included are:

• two images and your company logo
• Layout and content similar to the English sample site
• data transfer to you for uploading to your server
• registration with essential search engines and directories used in the German speaking countries
• fee for one year listing in all applicable categories of our data base and one banner, 175 pixel wide and not higher than 200 pixel, in one web site. (The full amount of $56.00 + GST will be charged the following year)
