Naturally we assume that you want to get some business out of your web site. This can only be achieved if you offer a service or merchandise which is in demand and the prices are within an acceptable range for what you offer.
The following is a check list of essential duties which are your responsibility:

• Provide good and honest information to us before we design your web site.
• Provide appealing pictures.
• Listen to us when we give you advice what should be included or deleted to meet the expectations of European visitors.
• Avoid statements, such as "second to none" or "best in the world". Nobody from Europe believes that and European customers will probably stay away because they won't trust you.
• Proofreading of the web site.
• Keeping your web site up-to-date. We will gladly incorporate changes for a reasonable fee.
• Do not expect that your business will improve immediately. Some patience is required.
• Respond to all incoming e-mail and phone calls of customers immediately. Nothing is worse than to expect that customers are willing to wait. They do not need you - you need them!
• If customers do not speak any English, find someone who can help you to respond in German or contact us. For a reasonable fee we will gladly perform this service for you.
• Be prepared that Europeans do not give credit card information by phone, fax or via Internet as easily as North Americans and that credit cards are still not as widely used by Europeans.
• Allow us to upload your web site to your server to speed up the process and to perform required updates easily. We will keep all information such as User-Id and Password confidential.

• If you have any questions with respect to your German web site do not hesitate to contact us. Some of our customers received unqualified advice from third parties and did not know anymore whom to believe. We will try to explain things to you in simple terms.

As already mentioned, it is our basic responsibility to discuss with you the content of your site, including text and pictures, to present your business in an appealing way.
The following is a check list of our essential responsibilities:

• To give you a detailed proposal and quotation based on the information received by you.
• To discuss the proposal with you and update the quotation.
• To design a flawless web site which is easy to navigate.
• To upload the web site to your or our server to allow you to check the design and proper function.
• To respond to all of your questions and include moderate changes for free.
• To register the web site with search engines and directories used in the German-speaking countries, as long as this registration is free of charge. A copy of the registration report will be given to you. However, we are not responsible for the time which is required to activate the web site by the search engines or directories. Naturally, we will do the same for English web sites.
• To randomly check the status of the registrations.
• In the case of mistakes which have been caused by us, we will correct those for free. However, we will not be responsible for any problems caused by wrong information supplied to us. Furthermore, we will not be responsible if the business created by the web site does not meet your expectations. (This applies also to printed advertising!)
• To transfer the ownership of the web site to you after payment. If the web site is to be with our hosting service, we will give you a copy on a CD or DVD, in case anything were to happen.
